The Name Konkan
Konkan is the south west coast region of India, a 720-km long coast line of the
Arabian Sea. Consisting of four states, Maharastra, Goa, Karnataka and Kerala
with many different languages customs traditions & food habits. This
coastal region covers a vast area of culinary delights with the East Indian
fiery curries to the rich sea food of Goa, the green masalas of Hindus, the
peppered lambs of Karwar, the gassi of Mangalore, ending at Kerala Malayali
avials and torans.
At Konkan
Here at Konkan, we offer you a large variety of Indian delicacies ranging from
regional specialties to your all time favourites. We use only fresh ingredients
that are delicately spiced and expertly cooked to tempt your appetite. Our
tandoori dishes are grilled in an authentic clay oven fired by charcoals that
seals in the flavours and lends a unique aroma to the dishes. We also offer
different levels of spicing for most of the items on our menu so as to be able
to please all our patrons. So experience Indian delicacies from master chefs
either in our restaurant or by treating yourself at home with a takeaway,
